Two pilgrims killed, one injured outside J&K's Shiv Khori shrine

Jammu, Aug 8 (Ajit Weekly News) Two pilgrims were killed and one other injured in a shooting stone accident in J&K’s Reasi district on Monday, police said.

The two were killed when they were hit by a shooting boulder while standing in queue outside the Shiv Khori cave shrine.

“One pilgrim was injured in this accident,” police said.

Lt Governor Manoj Sinha sanctioned Rs 5 lakh for the next of kin of the deceased pilgrims and Rs 50,000 for the injured pilgrim while expenses for the treatment of the injured would be borne by the government.
