Investments will rain in TN, Chief Minister Stalin Chennai,. Jan 7(Ajit Weekly News) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said that investments will rain into the state. He was addressing the Global Investors Meet (GIM) here on Sunday. Stalin said that Tamil Nadu had huge potential for investments and added that the investor friendly policies of the state government had made the state a haven for investments. The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister said that Tamil people had the urge to do business across the world and added that way back in 1920 a group of industrialists have formed the Employers Federation of Southern India and thay it had paved the way for the growth of Tamil Nadu as a state that had become developed in all aspects. He also said that since the DMK government assumed office in the state more than 200 MoUs have been signed. He added that these industries have commitment to provide employment to people of the state. Stalin said that more than 130 Fortune 500 companies have established their projects in the state of Tamil Nadu. While there has been bad blood between the local BJP lesdership and the DMK government led by Stalin, the Chief Minister spoke fondly about the Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal and said that the Union Minister Goyal‘s parents were popular leaders. He also said that Piyush Goyal had started his carrier as a banker and then carved a niche for himself in finance and commerce sectors. Goyal in his speech Union Minister Goyal said that DMK parliamentary party leader,. TR Baalu was a prooud father watching his son TRB Raaja as the industries minister of the staye playing a major role in the Global Investor Meet( GIM) of the state. TR Baalu was a former Union Minister during the NDA government of AB Vajpayee and then in the UPA government of Dr.ManMohan Singh and has an excellent personal rappprt with parliamentarians cutting across party lines. –Ajit Weekly News aal
