Since these camps will be held at a number of places, it will make getting inoculated easier too.

For implementing the decision, all incident commanders would work in cooperation with the local police, the DC said. Challan as well as FIR would be registered against those violating Covid norms.

A 77-year-old man from Sector 4 died of Covid-19 at PGI on Tuesday. He had acute respiratory distress syndrome. He was fully vaccinated. The city reported 15 new cases, taking the count to 65,796, with 100 active cases. Seventeen patients were discharged, pushing the recovery count to 64,617. The death toll is 1,079.
