B.C. family’s harrowing ordeal having to fly to Alberta to save their son’s life



The staffing and human resources issues have left the Cardiac Care at Children’s Hospital without sufficient coverage of surgeons. Those requiring life saving surgery are forced to go elsewhere, further jeopardizing their children. Steve Lazeski says his seven-month-old son James, suffered two cardiac arrests while being transferred to Edmonton. Kylie Stanton reports.
