Haryana schools to reopen for Classes 9 to 12 from July 16, 6 to 8 from July 23

Chandigarh:

Amid a steady decline in Covid cases, the Haryana government has given a go-ahead to resume offline classes in both government and private schools in the state.

According to an order issued by the Directorate School Education, offline classes will resume for students of Classes IX-XII from July 16. For Classes VI-VIII, the offline classes will resume from July 23.

The order says that a decision on resuming offline classes for students of Classes I-V will be taken later.

The order says that online classes that were started after a spike in Covid infections forced the schools to shut will continue.
