Your Laptop Gets Overheated, These Tips Will Help You


The coronavirus crisis has led to a large number of people in India working from their homes. In such a situation, the use of laptops has increased a lot. A lot of people are dealing with the overheating of their laptops.  

The problem of laptop overheating should not be ignored. It can quickly damage your laptop. Learn tips through which you can avoid this problem.

Cooling Fan

The problem of overheating occurs more in old laptops, so avoid using old laptops. If your laptop is old, get its fan fixed. The cooling fan of the laptop protects it from overheating. It has to be cleaned from time to time so that it does not get dirty. Due to the removal of dirt, it gets spoiled or reduces the cooling. In such a situation, get the cooling fan of the laptop fixed.

Avoid Using Your Laptop on Pillows or Blankets

Do not run the laptop on a pillow, blanket or quilt. Laptops take air from below for cooling.  If you run the laptop on these items, it will block the ventilation. The laptop should always be run on a flat surface.

Clean Your Laptop Every Two or Three Days

The accumulation of dust in the way of airflow causes the laptop to overheat. In such a situation, it is necessary that the laptop is cleaned every two to three days.

Allow the Laptop to Get Rest After Usage

The laptop runs continuously for several hours during work from home. Therefore, whenever you finish your work, the laptop must be given some rest. The laptop must be shut down before sleeping.
