Dr. Kisha Supernant details the extensive work involved in investigating burial sites at residential schools



Indigenous leaders in Edmonton are pushing for more to be done in Alberta following the discovery of the remains of 215 children at a former Kamloops residential school. Kim Smith spoke with Dr. Kisha Supernant, director of the University of Alberta’s Institute of Prairie and Indigenous Archaeology, for insight on how big of a job it is to investigate potential burial sites.
